Processing Oil Sludge Treatment (P.O.S.T.)
Our Oil Sludge Treatment process works in conjunction with our 2STC tank cleaning operation. The 2STC is installed within the tank access entry apertures and is then energized by fluids via the Oil Sludge Treatment modules. The oil sediment on the bottom and around the edges of the storage tank are then re-suspended in the fluid ready for extraction and separation.
The fluids are then processed through the Oil Sludge Treatment module and the component parts separated. First the distillate product is separated, followed by the water, leaving the oily sludge behind.
The distillate product is checked for purity and restored, the water is further processed as required for clarity and the oily sludge is then dried into a cake ready for re-sale as an aggregate.
